IPL 2021: Families and franchise members likely to face disciplinary action owing to bio-bubble breach

The Indian Premier League will kick off in the UAE, for the third time in its history. TheIPLWhen general elections were to be held in India in 2014, the first 20 matches were held in the Gulf nation. The entire 2020 edition of IPL was held in UAE due to COVID-19.
According to recent developments, the IPL 2021's remaining matches will also be played in the UAE between September and October. Due to the suspension of the IPL 2021 in India, the second part of the league was halted due to COVID-19 cases. The matches will now take place at three locations. A new protocol has been established by BCCI for franchise members and their families travelling to the UAE to combat the pandemic.
According to the new protocols, disciplinary actions may be taken against franchise members and their families if a bio-bubble breach is reported at any time. BCCI officials quoted Times Now as saying that franchise members who break Bio-Secure environment protocols will face disciplinary action.
