Joe Root was once again the savior of the family. England At the end of Day 2, the second Test at Lord's. England was reeling at 23/2. The England skipper stood by his side with the willow. Root and Burns played a crucial 85-run partnership for the third wicket. Just as England seemed to be safe on Day 2, Mohammed Shami caught Rory Burns at the stumps. His vigil in the middle was over.
James Anderson captures sensational five-wicket haul
James Anderson smashed the Indian tail. Anderson's inswinger Ishant Sharma defeated him, and Jasprit Bhumrah hit Buttler behind the stumps to score Anderson his fifth wicket. Anderson showed that age is nothing to him with his extraordinary performance with and the ball.
Ravindra Jadeja was first to leave and hit Mark Wood in the face at mid-on. This Test match is turning out to be a fantastic one. Both sides will need to play the third day.
